Grey Onyx is a distinctive Iranian natural stone valued for its translucent character and extraordinary mineral formations. Its surface combines pearl grey, silver, ivory, cream and warm greige tones with irregular smoky-grey and dark-brown accents, creating an expressive composition with significant natural variation from slab to slab.

Unlike onyx varieties dominated by linear banding, Grey Onyx can display dramatic cloudy, brecciated and crystalline formations. These irregular patterns create natural depth and make each slab a unique decorative surface.

When appropriately backlit, its translucent sections allow light to pass through the stone, revealing warmer golden and amber undertones and emphasizing its internal mineral structure.
